Here are some frequently asked questions we are hearing in the Tasting Room.
- How many people am I allowed to bring into the wine club area?
Each membership may bring 2 additional people into the exclusive wine club side per visit. Your guests will receive complimentary wine tasting during their visit.
- Can we bring our own food?
Hamilton Cellars offers a selection of cheeses and other snack items from our "serve yourself" refrigerator during normal tasting room hours. The Benton County Health Department does not allow outside food to be brought on to our premises.
Our hours are Wednesday noon - 5PM, Thursday noon- 7 pm, Friday, Saturday noon- 9 pm, and Sunday noon- 5 pm. We are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays to the general public but open by appointment during normal business hours. Please call in advance to check and see if we can accommodate your request.
A wine flight is a selection of wines that are poured side by side in separate glasses for a sensory evaluation and comparison of the wines. We offer two different "wine flights" for purchase, each featuring three different wines.
We do offer the option to rent out the facility for numerous types of events such as business meetings/presentations or personal celebrations. Please call 628-8227 for details and reservations.
The facilities are not available for rent during normal business hours.
- How do I submit a donation request for a fundraiser?
Our donation policy is posted on the website. Russ and Stacie Hamilton are concentrating their donations in support of the WSU Wine Science Center for 2013.
- Can we go through a wine tasting while seated at a table?
In order to provide the best tasting experience, we ask that all sampling is done at the bar. This way we can present the wines in turn for you to compare and contrast them. If you would like to purchase by the glass or bottle, we invite you to find a comfortable spot and our staff will be happy to serve you.
- Do you have gluten free menu options?
We carry gluten free crackers which can be purchased at the tasting room counter.
Currently we can ship wine throughout the states of Washington, Idaho, California, Oregon, Florida and Colorado. Please check back with us as we have applied for permits in several other states, and we are currently waiting for approval to ship. We can always ship non- wine items anywhere.
Please use the "Contact us" email if you have questions or comments.
Cheers!
